There is an article featured on the front page of Yahoo! today about a woman who was selling her house and a chance at finding true love on the internet.
The story explains her reasons for posting her ad and that she has the ad up on Craigslist and eBay.
The story continues saying she changed her last name in the ad to keep from people finding her in the phone book.
A smart move, you don't know what sort of crazy people an ad like that might attract.
However, the article, now posted for everyone to see, not only gives her alias she was using, but her real full name. So much for anonymity!

Sometimes I am very inspired. I can come up with great ideas for things to write about and opportunities to explore. Sometimes I am also very motived. In my head I will plan my day and make a mental list of everything that I can get done if I just stick to it.
Unfortunately, it often feels like I am at my most creative as I am drifting off to sleep. I come up with the "perfect" phrases to put into my blog, or start planning a story. Naturally, it is just as I am most comfortable, so there is no way I am going to haul myself out of bed to write anything down.
Then the morning comes with it, having to rush to work out and get ready for work. By the time I get a moment to review my fantastic ideas from the night before, most of them are usually a bit hazy. I sometimes have a vague recollection of what seemed brilliant, but usually not quite as clear as it seemed in the evening.
It's hard to tell just how many of my ideas are truly inspired by brilliance and just lost in sleep somewhere, or how many ideas just seem brilliant because I am falling asleep.

Ten Things to Be Happy About
With all the less then great things going on today - high gas prices, low value of the dollar, rise in foreclosures, just to name a few, it's easy to get bogged down with the negative. I thought it would be good to remember there are a lot of really simple things we can be happy for every day.
1. Hugs.
2. Summer produce! I love fresh fruit and vegetables, and while I know most things you can get somewhere, year around, the summer selection is always sweeter.
3. Friends and family who can talk you into procrastinating on your to-do's chores when Friday rolls around.
4. A pair of shoes that are both cute and comfortable.
5. No lines at the grocery store.
6. Not having to make dinner after a long day at work.
7. Freshly washed sheets.
8. Making someone laugh, smile or just feel better when they are a little down.
9. Longer, warmer days that make you feel like you really do have day left when you leave the office.
10. Hearing the words I love you.

Friends Come and Go
When I think about where and who I was 5 or 10 years ago and who I am now there are a lot of things that are very different about my life.
My goals are larger, confidence greater, the way I dress and the things I am lucky enough to get to do regularly seem extravagant compared to where I used to be.
I have grown in a lot of ways which often results in growing away from friends who I thought I would be close to for a long time. There are friends who don't always grow with you, or in the same direction, and sometimes it becomes necessary to let go of the friendships. Sometimes you have friends whose habits or personality you never really saw, but then something happens to make you realize you had always been more of a friend to them then they were to you.
Unfortunately, the other party might not agree that the two of you are that different and it often results in a lot of hurt feelings. The older I get, the more I realize how little time we really get each day and in our lives, and there comes a point when you have to analyze just how and with who you want to spend that precious free time with.
